The night crawled its way into the room where she was standing tall and immovable. It was as if nothing had happened. Clueless of the shadow around her, she stood still staring outside her window- pure darkness. In a moment’s notice she realized that she couldn’t move even if she wanted to. She set everything aside in her mind and focused at the task at hand. She wasn’t to worry about tomorrow, but let tomorrow worry for itself. Feeling overwhelmed yet again did not help her situation. The shadow remained on the wall as she tried to move. Nothing. No movement. She was left to bear this alone. No one would help her. No one would rescue her. She dug a hole so deep that she herself couldn’t get out of. It was destiny. Destiny was calling her, but it was too late. Why did destiny have to come now? Why didn’t it come before to warn? Didn’t it though? She had a choice. She made a decision. She didn’t have to make that decision. Even at gun-point, she could’ve said no. But she didn’t. She said yes. Now standing there tall and immovable, she is the only one who can explain the shadow of the dead body in her room.
This is a short story I just wrote... I wish to add to this, but am very sleepy. I realize it's a bit gloomy, but it's definitely exciting! ;D
